A pair of robbers have been arrested for holding up a teen at gunpoint in Massapequa Park, Nassau County police said.
Preshod McCoy, 20, and Moleek Smalls, 16, both of North Babylon, set up a meeting with the 16-year-old victim to buy sneakers.
But when they met inside a car on Maple Street on Dec.8, the victim told them that the sneakers were not the same ones that had originally been offered to him. The victim tried to exit the car, but Smalls drew a gun and pressed it to the victim's neck, demanding money, police said.
A struggle ensued and the victim to got out of the car, but he dropped his iPhone. He demanded that it be return, but the pair drove off, police said.
Smalls was arrested earlier this month a, while McCoy was scheduled to be arraigned Saturday.
They were charged with robbery and criminal use of a firearm.
