Tell Us: Is 10 Years A Just Sentence?

Convicted man left Nassau Police officer unable to work; Is 10 years enough punishment?

An Amityville man got 10 years in prison Tuesday for causing a 2011 crash on the Southern State Parkway in Farmingdale that badly injured a Nassau County Police officer.

24, braked hard during a high-speed chase, forcing the police cruiser to crash and then fled the scene. The chase began in North Massapequa. The officer still can't work.

Our question: Is 10 years behind bars justified. Too little? About right?
