The past year brought a wide array of disturbing and unusual police and crime stories. Here is our list of the top 10 crime stories for the Town of Oyster Bay in 2012.

The closing of 5th, 6th & 8th police precincts, And the planned closing of the 1st pct which has stalled because of the cost of renovation to the 7th pct. The effects of this ill advised maneuver will cost tax payers for generations. Both is additional costs and threat to public safety.
