An area fan was arrested for running onto the field durning the Mets no hitter celebrtion.

Friday was one of the most exciting nights in the 50-year history of the New York Mets.

But a fan from Massapequa may have been a bit too excited.

Raphael Diaz, 32, was one of two men arrested for runing onto the field after New York hurler Johan Santana pitched the first no-hitter in the team's history.

They were charged with interfering with a sports event, which in past cases has led to offenders being banned from Citi Field.
