What started out as a possible tragey has ended up as one of the most unusual stories to hit the area in quite some time.
Raymond Roth of Massapequa was reported missing on Saturday afternoon. According to reports, his family told police that Roth went with his son to Jones Beach for a swim and then went missing.
A search by police and the Coast Guard turned up nothing.
But on Wednesday Roth was stopped for speeding in South Carolina, according to State Park police Capt. Bruce Marx.
Authorities are investigating this case, but we want to know what you think.
