Woman Robbed Near Sunrise Mall
According to detectives, a 20-year-old woman was in her car with the driver door open when a man with a handgun came over and took her pocketbook.
Nassau County police are investigating a robbery that took place on the west side of Sunrise Mall on Thursday.
According to detectives, a 20-year-old woman was in her car with the driver door open when a man with a handgun came over and took her pocketbook.
The man, who was with an accomplice, then fled on foot westbound towards East Gate Road.
There were no injuries reported.
Police said both men were black, and the man with the gun was dressed in all dark clothing and a hooded sweatshirt.
