Alleged Mistress Reportedly Asks for Restraining Order Against Tedesco

Accuser says she's afraid of former officer.

A Massapequa woman who claims a Nassau County Police officer carried on an affair with her, while he was supposed to be on duty, has reportedly asked for an order of protection against the cop.

Tara Obenauer, said that Mike Tedesco threatened her after learning of a police investigation of the case, WABC-TV reported.

"I'm scared and upset and I would like to get this behind me for myself and for my children," she said.

Obenauer that she carried on an affair for months with Tedesco inside her home, when he should have been patrolling. A suspicious neighbor blew the whistle on Tedesco and alerted cops who discovered through a GPS check that he'd been at the home at least 57 times.

A spokesman for the Nassau County District Attorney said that they are "monitoring the ongoing investigation of the NCPD internal affairs unit."

Tedesco, filed retirement papers and is receiving a state mandated pension, according to WABC.
