Bio: Gordon has lost in two previous bids for Fuschillo's seat. She is a former mental health clinic manager and patient advocate at the Department of Veteran Affairs. Gordon has been involved in many issues involving veterans.
She became a member of the National Organization of Women and the chairwoman of the mentoring and education committee for Urban Financial Services Coalition of Long Island, which promotes financial literacy.

She is the Vice President of the Breezy Point Civic Association and the founder, president and curator of Unspoken History Treasures, a private collection of over 35 years of African American artifacts.
Education: Gordon attended classes at Farmingdale State College, according to her campaign website.
