The race for state Senate seat in New York's Eighth District is going to have a familiar feel to it.
That's because the race features the same two candidates who ran for the seat in 2008 and 2010.
Incumbent, Charles Fuschillo, R-Merrick, is seeking an eighth term in Albany.
His opponent, Carol Gordon, R-Massapequa, the curator of a private collection of African artifacts, is hoping the third time will be the charm.
She lost both previous races to Fuschillo and is once again hoping to create jobs through tax credits to small businesses.
Fuschillo has made his mark as a lawmaker as chairman of the Senate Transportation committee, where he's helped write several piesces of legislation, including Leandra's Law.
