Elections are just around the corner and the race for County Executive is in full swing.

Both incumbent Ed Mangano and candidate Tom Suozzi are hitting the pavement and speaking with constituents to secure votes.

The most recent polls have put Mangano ahead 52 percent to Suozzi's 35, according to CBS.

Meanwhile, in Oyster Bay, John Venditto looks to maintain his seat as Supervisor against democratic challenger John Capobianco. On the Town Board, incumbents Joseph Pinto, Chris Coschignano and Michelle Johnson are opposed by Shaker Nelanuthala, Chris Briggs and Kimberly Snow.

Incumbent James Altadonna Jr. looks to serve another two years as Town Clerk, and Mili Makhijani opposes him.
