Massapequa Man wins Lottery Prize

Area resident wins Take Five cash award.

A Massapequa man has a few thousand extra dollars in his holiday budget after winning a prize from the New York State Lottery.

Joseph Jernick, won $33,798 playing the Lottery's Take Five game last month.

He purchased the ticket at Cori's Gift & Stationary Shop in Wantagh

The odds of winning Take Five are 1 in 575,757, according to the state Lottery's website.
