Massapequa Park's New Direction

Massapequa Park has a new Mayor. What should he tackle first?

After 12 years, the Village of Massapequa Park has a new face in the mayors office.

Jeffrey Pravato was appointed mayor on Monday by the Massapequa Park Village Board.

He's no stranger to Village politics, serving as Deputy Mayor since 2008, under James Altadonna.

The village board  still has to name one more member to replace the vacancy created by Altadonna's decision to step down and become Oyster Bay Town Clerk and Pravato also must face election in March.

But for now, the new Village government is in place, and we want to know what issues you'd like to see them tackle first.

What are the most important issues facing Massapequa Park?
