Massapequa's New LIRR Station
The Massapequa LIRR station is about to undergo a $40 million renovation. Good idea or too expensive?
The Massapequa Long Island Rail Road Station is going to look very different in 2015.
That's the scheduled completion date for a major renovation on the station.
The project is set to include construction of a brand new platform and canopy, a new waiting room, a new escalator elevator and stairs and a new pedestrian walkway over Broadway.
The cost of the project going to be $40 million according to LIRR officials. We want to know what you think. How necessary are the renovations? What do you think of the price tag?
