MLK Holiday Means No Sanitation Pick-up Monday
Collection will be delayed one day through early part of week. Don't put the pails out tonight.
The town of Oyster Bay's sanitation and S.O.R.T. recycling collection schedules will be modified for the Monday, Jan. 20, observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
There will be no sanitation or S.O.R.T. recycling collection on Monday. Residents who normally receive Town sanitation or recycling collection on Monday will have pickup on Tuesday, Jan. 21, while Tuesday customers will receive sanitation and recycling collection on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
All town offices will be closed on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, but parks and ice skating rinks will be open. For more information, visit the Town’s website, at
