Navy SEAL From Massapequa Killed in Training Exercise

Johnathan H. Kaloust, a Massapequa native, died in a vehicle accident.

A Navy SEAL from Massapequa was killed when his Humvee overturned during a training exercise in Fort Knox, Ky., according to multiple reports.

Johnathan H. Kaloust, 23, was one of eight people on board the vehicle which was conducting tactical training, a SEAL spokesman told the Huffington Post.

Seven other sailors suffered minor injuries in the accident. All were released from a hospital. There was no immediate word about what caused the vehicle to flip.

Kaloust was based out of Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek in Fort Story, Va., the spokesman said.
