You can not put a farm on the site, it is a former toxic waste site. This is why a pool is not practical, who knows what is under the ground. I know it was cleaned up, but I would not want my children swimming there.

Thanks for your comment,Cosmo - finally someone understands that while a pool is a fun idea, it is not a safe one - not for ourselves, nor our kids. A pool on the site of a former toxic waste dump, no matter how much the TOB has cleaned it up, is just a waste of our tax dollars. If people want another town pool - build it on non-contaminated ground. Try a community center, like something run by an established and experienced organization - I'm told that the YMCA is interested in getting involved at the Allen Park site.
