Pravato and Spinosa Will Run Unopposed in Massapequa Park

Longtime trustees both seeking sixth terms.

The two incumbents on the ballot in the March village board elections in Massapequa Park will be running unopposed.

Deputy Mayor Jeffrey Pravato and Trustee Teresa Spinosa were the only candidates who filed petitions for the Mar. 20 Village election, according to Deputy Village Clerk Linda Tuminello.

Pravato, a securities trader and father of four and Spinosa, who is a CPA, were first elected to the board in 2002, and are each looking for a sixth two-year term.

Although, Pravato and Spinosa will not face any declared candidates, the Village will still hold the March election as scheduled and voters may write in candidates.
