Weigh in on Debate Moderator

The Hofstra presidential debate will feature the first woman to moderate in 20 years. SHould it have happened sooner?

Long Island gets will be in the national spotlight on Oct. 16 when it hosts a presidential debate.

In addition to candidates Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, CNN correspondent Candy Crowley will also be on stage as the moderator.

It'll be the first time that a woman has moderated a debate since ABC News journalist Carole Simpson was in charge in 1992.

There had been a number of calls for a female moderator and we want to know what you think.

I could care less who moderates, as long as it's a fair debate. CNN's Crowley and her network favor Liberals no matter who they are. I'm hoping that we won't see softballs tossed at the President in order to make him look good. Let it be a fair, clean debate.

I agree with Liz, also in this day and age it shouldn't be 'it's a woman' it should be is it the best person for the job (man or woman). The voting public wants a clean clear debate that is about the issues so we can figure out the best person for the President!

Journalists, for the most part are liberals with an agenda. CNN is particularly liberal biased. We need someone, man or woman, who will ask the tough questions and get the truth out of these candidates. The questions should not be given to the candidates beforehand. That only gives their advisors a chance to spin more B.S.
