Weigh in on the Economy

On Tuesday, The president delivered his State of the Union address and placed a strong emphasis on the economy.

Saying "The state of our Union is getting stronger," the president said that businesses have created more than 3 million jobs in the last 22 months and that American manufacturers are hiring again.

We also saw unemployment drop in the Town of Oyster Bay last month, while an analyst for the Labor Department said there's a decline in the labor force on Long Island.

There seems to be mixed signals about whether or not the economy is rebounding.
