Mother-Teen daughter Book Discussion at the Massapequa Public Library

Massapequa Park resident Linda Maria Frank, a retired high school science teacher, will conduct a mother-daughter book discussion on her teen mystery novel The Madonna Ghost, Wednesday, February 23rd at 7 p.m. at the Bar Harbour building.  Frank, who taught biology, chemistry and forensic science for 30 years in the Seaford schools and also teaches forensics at Hofstra and Adelphi universities, describes the book, which is set on Fire Island, as “Nancy Drew meets C.S.I.” The Madonna Ghost features teen sleuth Annie Tillery, who stalks an eerie ghost with the help of her boyfriend and a local historian.

Registration is now underway in the Adult Reference Department at both buildings and copies of the book are available for check out.  Refreshments will be served.  Massapequa teens and their moms are encouraged to attend this exciting evening during the midwinter recess!
