“Teens and Prescription Drugs” Seminar

Abuse of prescription drugs in order to “get high,” ranks second among teens as the nation’s most prevalent illegal drug problem.  Nearly one in five teens report abusing prescription medications that were not prescribed to them.  An alarming number includes teens living right here in Nassau County.

That’s why Senator Kemp Hannon is sponsoring a FREE “Teens and Prescription Drugs” Seminar to help parents and their teens. Sign-up for this informational evening with Nancy Langdon, RN, whose special presentation will provide you with the tools to help your teen(s) who may be at risk for prescription drug abuse.

Highlights of the presentation include
