Massapequa Cancels After School Activities Thursday

The Massapequa School District has canceled all afternoon and evening activities on Thursday, school officials said.

Also cancelled was the Board of Education meeting scheduled for 8 p.m.

There was no immediate word as of Thursday afternoon on the status of school on Friday.

Meanwhile,  Miss Tara's Little Rascals Day Care Center at 5770  Merrick Road announced an early release at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. There was no word on Friday's plans.
