Mother nature has once again wreaked havoc on the Massapequa School District's plans.
The district announced early Thursday morning that all Massapequa public schools will be closed in the aftermath of the Nor'easter that struck the area Wednesday.
The latest closing comes after schools had been closed for at least a week after Hurricane Sandy hit the area.
The Birch Lane School has yet to open since Irene and the district had previously announced that Birch Lane and McKenna Elementary Schools will be closed Wednesday.
After initially announcing a delayed opening, Plainedge Schools later decided to close Thursday.
