Massapequa students, teachers, staffers and alumni will be gathering for the annual homecoming weekend.
The event, as usual, will be the parade and the homecoming football game. Longtime Berner Middle School teacher Don Nobile will serve as Grand Marshal on Saturday.
There's a full slate of events on tap as well. Here's a look at the schedule:
Friday’s events:
- Pep Rally inthe Massapequa High School Gym 1 p.m.
- Girls Field Hockey Home vs. Carle Place 4:30 p.m.
- Girls Tennis Home vs. East Meadow 4:45 p.m.
Saturday’s events:
- Boys Cross Country @ Manhattan College Invitational 9:30 a.m.
- V Girls Volleyball @ Lindenhurst Tournament 10 a.m.
- Homecoming Parade starts at Massapequa Park Village Hall 12:30 p.m.
- V Boys Football Home vs. Hempstead 2 p.m.
After the game, fall sports booster clubs will be selling snacks and Chiefs gear near the football field.
