The Massapequa School District has announced a delayed opening for Wednesday.
School start times will be delayed for two hours. Students at Massapequa High School's Ames Campus will begin school at 9:25 a.m., while the main campus will start at 9:30 a.m. Lockhart begins at 10:40 a.m.
Berner Middle School students will start at 10:02 a.m., McKenna Elementary School has a 10:25 a.m. start time, East Lake Elementary gets underway at 10:30 a.m.

Birch Lane, Unqua and Fairfield start at 11:15 a.m.
Plainedge and Amityville public schools also have a two hour delayed opening this morning.
