This week began a new era for Massapequa schools.
New Superintendent Lucille Iconis was sworn in, while a new school board president, Gary Bennett, was elected on Tuesday.
There are many issues that the administration and the school board are maintaining programs under the state tax cap, matters related to performance review for teachers and questions about the amount of testing students have to undergo.
