Schwarting Elementary School Names New Principal
Jennifer Thearle takes over Plainedge District school.
Charles Schwarting Elementary School has a new principal, Plainedge school officials said.
Jennifer Thearle, an Educator with 15 years experience took over the school, which is located in North Massapequa on Jan. 6.
She had been serving as an assistant principal in the Levittown School District. Thearle began her career in Freeport in 1998.
“I enjoy the challenges of education, working with teachers, parents and students, and the opportunities to make education happen for each student,” Thearle said. “I look forward to proving myself as an effective leader for the Plainedge School District.”
