We've reached the height of school budget season. The Massapequa School Board has held their four discussions about the $183 million spending plan, including the most recent meeting on Saturday.
The budget is scheduled to be adopted Thursday. It will include a tax increase that is under the new state tax law and will also include the elimination of 29 teaching positions.
