Stony Brook Football To Hold Free Clinic And Scrimmage At Burns Park

In conjunction with the Town of Oyster Bay, supervisor John Venditto and the Nassau and Suffolk Police Athletic Leagues, the Stony Brook football program will hold a youth clinic followed by a team scrimmage at John J. Burns Park on Saturday, August 13.

The day kicks off with a free youth clinic from 2 to 4 p.m. during which a DJ will be playing today’s best music.  Followed by a free barbecue for clinic participants and their families, Priore, who will be wearing a microphone to give fans insight into the program, will run the Seawolves through a two-hour scrimmage beginning at 5 p.m.  All fans are invited for an autograph session with the Stony Brook players following the scrimmage.

Throughout the day, fans will have the opportunity to buy Stony Brook merchandise and season tickets.  Schedule posters and schedule cards also will be available.
