The Massapequa Lacrosse Club & the Town of Oyster Bay’s 6th Annual Supervisor’s Cup, June 3-5

The Massapequa Lacrosse Club and the Town of Oyster Bay are thrilled to return this year with the Sixth Annual Supervisor’s Cup to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) & the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  The 2011 Supervisors Cup is expected to draw over 1,000 participants.  This number includes lacrosse players in grades K-12, post-collegiate lacrosse players, corporate sponsors, event volunteers, food & merchandise vendors.  This year’s fight for the cup will kick off on June 3rd, 2011 at 5 p.m. at Burns Park in Massapequa.  Admission to the event is free to fans.

Since 2005, the Massapequa Lacrosse Club has helped raise over $180,000.00 to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation & the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. All the proceeds from this year’s Supervisor’s Cup will once again go to these foundations.  The tournament is run by and with all volunteers.

The Massapequa Lacrosse Club and the Town of Oyster Bay are pleased to announce the return of The Lax Hut as the official retailer of this year’s event. The Lax Hut has collaborated with numerous lacrosse merchandisers to present the Supervisor Cup’s ‘Vendor Village’.  The Vendor Village will provide event participants and attendees with the latest lacrosse equipment, accessories, and apparel. Merchandise in all price ranges will be available and a portion of the weekend’s total sales will go back to the JDRF and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The Massapequa Lacrosse Club is also excited to announce the addition of Rosscommon Irish Pub as an official sponsor of the Sixth Annual Supervisor’s Cup.  As part of the sponsorship, Roscommon will be offering 25% off  meals to all participating athletes on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at their Massapequa Park location.
