Local Jet Fans React to AFC Title Game Loss
Jets fans at Mulcahy's in Wantagh share their thoughts on game against Steelers.
Fans of the New York Jets flocked to Mulcahy's Pub & Concert Hall in Wantagh to watch the AFC title game against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday.
The many spirited fans who viewed the Jets chance to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl left Mulcahy's disappointed after the Steelers won 24-19. It was the second straight year the Jets fell in the AFC title game. The last time the Jets made the Super Bowl was in January 1969 when Joe Namath successfully guaranteed a victory against the heavily favored Baltimore Colts.
