Massapequa Rough Riders Win U-19 State Open Cup
Team will represent Eastern New York Soccer Association in Regional tournament.
The Massapequa Rough Riders recently won the Boys Under-19 State Open Cup in a matchup of two Long Island Junior Soccer teams.
The Rough Riders took the match by a 1-0 score over Valley Stream Forest , with goal keeper Vincent Pellegrino stopping a penalty kick on the way to a shutout.
THe lone goal was scored by Will Rezin with a shutout.
Massapequa will represent Eastern New York Soccer Association in a Regional tournament starting June 28 at the University of Rhode Island.
