Massapequa Sends 32 to Division I College Sports

Local high school athletes sign letters of intent.

College sports teams from all around the country are going to add the talents of Massapequa athletes next year.

Thirty two athletes from the Massapequa School District have signed Letters of Intent to participate in sports at the Division I level.

Here's a list of the Chiefs who will be continuing their athletic careers according to school officials.

  • Jamie Ahrens, field hockey, Adelphi.
  • Craig Berge, boys lacrosse, Georgetown.
  • Nick Capuana, boys lacrosse, Towson.
  • Ian Kirby, boys lacrosse, Towson.
  • Jack Korber, boys lacrosse, Marist.
