Oyster Bay Harbor will be teeming with swimmers Saturday morning, the first leg of the Greater Island Running Club's Runner's Edge TOBAY Triathlon

Tom Eikelberg, the swim coach at SUNY-Cortland, set the course record a year ago after the event was cancelled in 2011 by Tropical Storm Irene. See 2012 photos
This year's event features a three-part course: Half-mile swim in Oyster Bay Harbor; 15-kilometer bike through Oyster Bay, Laurel Hollow, and Cove Neck; 5-kilometer run through Mill Neck and Brookville.

It finishes at Theodore Roosevelt Park. The triathlon kicks off at 7:30 a.m.

Note: No work will take place on West Shore Road this weekend.
