Town Beaches Open Weekends Beginning Saturday

As Memorial Day weekend gets into full swing, Town of Oyster Bay residents will be heading to the beach. 

Tobay Beach, Philip B. Healey Beach, and Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Beach will be open for weekends only beginning Saturday. 

Residents can buy beach stickers Thursday from 1-2:30 p.m. and Friday from 9-11 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m. at Burns Park, Tobay Beach, and Roosevelt Beach. 

All Town beaches will be open daily beginning June 22. 

Beach sticker prices are:

  • Resident: $60
  • Active or veteran military participants, voluntary firefighters or members of a department within TOBAY, auxiliary police, Coast Guard auxiliary: $25 
  • Seniors 60 and older or disabled town residents with Town Beach ID Card: Free 
Seniors and disabled residents can get a beach ID card for a one-time price of $30, plus a $2 photo charge, at the Town Clerk's office.
