Here’s a way to help fight cancer and enjoy a night of dancing and dining on food and drink, featuring cuisine from more than 70 Long Island restaurants. It’s the 2013 Long Island Hospitality Ball, which takes place Monday, June 3, at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.
The event benefits the American Cancer Society.

The annual gala was created by Keith Hart, a hospitality professional who is also a cancer survivor.

Highlights include food from Farmingdale’s Library Café, Plainview’s Brasserie Cassis, Syosset’s Rare650, Rockville Centre’s George Martin – The Original and Island Park’s Pop’s Seafood Shack and Grill.

Other participating food venues include favorites such as Glen Cove-based Elegant Affairs, Roslyn-based Besito and Bistro Citron, Port Washington-based La P’Tite Frambois and Mineola’s Lulu Trattoria.

You’ll also be able to feast on dishes from Huntington-based PrimeCafé Buenos AiresFinnegan’s and more. Other favorites include Centerport’s Mill Pond House, Northport’s J. Michaels Tuscan Steakhouse, and Melville’s Four Food Studio

Tickets are $100; $150 at the door. For ticket or donation information, contact Marie Cimaglia, American Cancer Society, at (631) 300-3460 or click here.
