For most of us, it's the first full week of work and school in 2014. Things will rev up considerably this week with meetings sports and programs.
Here's a look ahead:
BP: There will be free blood pressure readings for seniors at the Bar Harbour Library Friday at 10 a.m.
PTA: There will be a Massapequa PTA Council Meeting at the main campus of Massapequa High School Monday at 7p.m.
Concert: Massapequa High School's Ames Campus will hold a concert THursday at 8 p.m.
Hoops: The Boys and Girls basketball teams both play Farmingdale Tuesday. The girls host the Dalers at 4 p.m., while the boys travel to Farmingdale for a 4 p.m. start.
Town Board: The Oyster Bay Town Board meets Tuesday at 10 a.m. It will be at Town Hall 54 Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay.
