It greatly saddens me to read the disappointed comments below. It makes me wonder who actually is incompetent?!?! As a teacher myself, with a special needs child, I am not only impressed, but utterly astonished at what this school encourages their students to do. I just had my daughter's CPSE meeting with the Massapequa School District and was asked where my daughter attends preschool. The coordinator of preschool special stated that it is well-known in the district that students whom appear well-prepared are products of Wind-n-Willow preschool. If that doesn't speak volumes, then I don't know what does. I have had 2 children go through the school and have been nothing but humbled and pleased with the education they received. Yes, education, as it is a school with standards, expectations, and a professional staff that care for your children as if they are their own. It is NOT a daycare. I feel exemely safe leaving my children there. Of course, all you can do is read reviews and draw your own judgments, but until you check this school out, be sure to investigate all avenues, and not just the reviews of 3 disgruntled people. I can promise you will be impressed.
