Spend thousands of dollars to construct a basketball court, and all they want to do is fight. WeRead More should redesign the project to include a boxing ring.

Human Trafficking is a big problem and reducing the demand is certainly one way to approach it. IRead More respectfully disagree with the poster who said that all we get are "104 embarrassed guys." Women make up the majority of people trafficked - many forced into the sex trade (often by being threatened or by fearing harm will come to their families). Prostitution is not a "victimless" crime by any means. It's too early to determine how effective calling johns out will have on the issue, but it's a step in the right direction - provided protocols are in place to ensure people are not falsely accused.

Hopefully this will not result in lawsuits against the county that will result in millions ofRead More dollars of taxpayers' monies wasted again, such as that debacle when a certain Seaford gunshop, which was shown in court to be operating legally, was raided at the behest of said DA. Maybe I don't get out much, but I haven't seen many loose women parading their wares on my local streets. As others posted, I would rather see more emphasis on drugs and gangs.

I agree with Jean and Deborah. Prostitution is a crime and not a victimless one. Just because itRead More occurs behind closed doors, Art, does not mean it does not effect our quality of life. I think Ms. Rice is doing a fine job. Not perfict, but a good job.

Fast thinking good move by the intended victim. Gee that description, minus the mask fits about 99%Read More of all the landscapers in the area. I'm just wondering if the alleged perp. had a valid gun permit and conformed to all the new rules that our local NYS Assemblyman Tom McKevit voted for.

If a business isn't smart enough to install a camera security system these days, they had it coming.Read More A couple of hundred dollars would have caught the crime. My guess, its a person that works in a similar store that knows the business.

Look at the idiots they hire to work in that dump
nene May 16, 2013 at 02:33 pm
We were going through inventory that's why he was let in. Following store manager direction. DontRead More worry people this mall is allowing bars to come in this mall and wants to stay open till 12. Stop complaining about one store and look at the rest of them. This could happen to anyone and any store.
Massa May 29, 2013 at 11:30 am
Nene, that store is trash. That had to be an inside job and you know it! How did the perp know theRead More store was doing inventory that night... Because another perp who worked there let him in. And as far as bars go, they use to have a pizza UNO in the parking lot that use to close after 1am and that wasn't a problem.... Walmart is.
