There are also baseball diamonds in a variety of sizes. Many of the fields have lights for night games and events. The park also has a paved walking and running path. </p> <p>Toward the back of the park is a boat launch, which is available for use all year long.</p> <p>The youngest residents were not forgotten when designing the park. The Town of Oyster Bay Field of Dreams Park was completed in 2005. It is a superb 10-acre facility containing two…More full-sized multi-use athletic fields and a half-sized practice field. These fields are excellent for soccer, football and even lacrosse. There is also a basketball court and two playgrounds. Because this park was completed within the past decade, it is equipped with all the modern amenities, such as lighting for evening events.  </p> <p>The fields are maintained by the newest in irrigation and drainage systems and the turf itself is strengthened by plastic mesh fiber. Even the scoreboard is controlled through wireless technology. Thought was put into every aspect of Field of Dreams—from the entrances to the gates to the lighting and even the drinking fountains. There is room in the parking lot for over 125 cars.</p>

Town of Oyster Bay Preschool Program is located at Marjorie R. Post Community Park.  There is a 3-year-old…More program and a 4-year-old program.  Additionally, a morning session and an afternoon session are available. Parents and students are even able to select 3 days per week or 5 days per week.  The 3 days per week costs $1260 and the 5 days per week costs $1600.  Classes run September through January and February through May. </p> <p>Check with the Town of Oyster Bay Department of Community and Youth Services on availability.  The size of the classes is limited and is determined by the date of registration.  All children who attend the program must be toilet-trained.  Diapers and pull-ups are not permitted.</p>
