Brian Kacharaba, Neighbor

Brian has been a writer and editor at various media outlets for over 13 years. He first caught the journalism bug as a senior at Farmingdale High School when he became tri-editor-in-chief after only a couple of months with the newspaper. He went on to become the sports editor at Nassau Community College and a reporter for two newspapers at St. John's University. Professionally, Brian was a writer and editor for the former ESPN SportsTicker before spending eight years at the Associated Press. Most recently, he was a contributor for the Garden City Life.

Brian currently lives in Bay Shore with his wife Nicki and daughter Sia.
