Dr.  David Doig is the Director of The Bayport School of Music.  The school has been an essential part of the local community since 1996.  Many students of the school have gone on to have professional  careers in music.  The school is devoted to nurturing a love of music and encouraging  students  to perform in the many performance events the school sponsors.  These events include performances in the Sayville Summer and Fall Festivals, winter recitals  at The Meadow Croft Estate, in addition to performances at The Boulton Theater and The Dix Hills Performance Arts Center.
