Thomas Jones, and the History of the Massapequas - lecture by Newsday writer, John Hanc

John Hanc, Newsday writer and author of Jones Beach: An Illustrated History, will be speaking about the life and times of Thomas Jones, in commemoration of the 300th anniversary of the death of this great man.  Thomas and Freelove Jones were the first non-native American settlers of the Massapequas, and Mr. Hanc will speak to us about the important historical legacy that they have left behind . . .
