Police: North Massapequa Man Stole Construction Equipment
Arrest Tuesday in Construction case
A North Massapequa man was arrested for stealing a construction vehicle after alert cops spotted it parked in the man's driveway, police said.
Officers were driving on North Virginia Avenue Tuesday afternoon when they saw the John Deere Skid Steer mounted on a trailer in the driveway of a home where Anastassios Poukamisas, 19, lived.
The cops had received a report that such a vehicle had been stolen the night before from Suffolk County's Fifth Precinct.
Poukamisas was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property.
